The club has had a stall at the annual Village Carnival for almost every year since the event was restarted. The club’s stall has regularly been one of the Carnival’s main attractions with the ‘human pinball’, snail racing, nerf gun range, sock challenge being amongst the many entertainments that have been provided.
The club visited the Christmas Pantomime staged by the local drama group, the Willington Players, in Willington Village Hall in 2017 and 2018. For further details, additional pictures and a video please press the key below.
The club entered a team in to the Village games for several years, this was an event organised by South Derbyshire District Council as part of the London 2012 Olympic Legacy Program.
Following the highly successful journey of the Olympic Torch in the build up to the 2012 London Olympics one of the Torch Bearers brought her model of the torch in to one of the groups meeting. For more pictures of the visit please click on the link below.
